Stephen Weir

 

A creative and dynamic Supply Chain professional with wide ranging business experience and a passion for excellence. Board level management roles, strategic and operational blue chip consulting experience and in depth experience of hands on Supply Chain management including significant change process implementations.

 

 

 

 

Over 20 years experience of business management includes working with a wide variety of multinational organizations, including Tate and Lyle, British Oxygen, Price Waterhouse, Excel Logistics, Transport Development Group. His expertise spans industries from extraction through manufacturing to government sector, high tech and pharmaceuticals. Project experience from Strategic Design through to hands on implementation.

 Andrew Buckingham

 

Andrew is a Supply Chain professional with over 20 years experience in both Operations and Consultancy in global, blue chip companies.

 

 

  

 

He has broad experience of leading change and driving supply chain improvement in the private and public sector. His work includes operational improvement & restructuring; business change programmes including Lean; Sales and Operations Planning; sourcing and supplier management; manufacturing process improvement; management of capital assets.

 

Andrew has wide sector experience across the UK and Europe, including Consumer Goods, Chemicals, 3PL, Aggregates & Defence. Achievements have included:

  • Business Planning process development for a major Defence client
  • Site restructuring & business turnaround for a Consumer Goods manufacturer
  • Supply chain redesign saving 10% for European division of a multinational company
  • UK warehouse redesign saving 25% in headcount & 40% in picking distances
  • Benchmarking study & for French-speaking sites of global chemicals company
  • Innovative design for global fashion supply chain cutting 30% from transit times

Andrew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.


Chris Stanley

 

Chris is a versatile and flexible Business Executive with senior international line and consulting experience at major firms including Unilever, KPMG, BOC, Burger King, and Capgemini.

 

 

 

Chris has worked in most industry sectors and has over 25 years experience in supply chain management and implementing change. His work has ranged from supply chain strategy, factory and process design, factory management, quality management, strategic procurement, performance improvement, through to training and development.

 

Some of Chris’s achievements include:

  • Setting up a new business in a developing country for a global FMCG firm
  • Developing a new global supply chain strategy for the consumer division of a global agrochemical company
  • Transforming operating performance at a poorly performing FMCG factory
  • Leading the design and construction of a new Greenfield factory on time and within budget
  • Implementing a new procurement category structure for a global restaurants business and delivering 20%+ savings on group contracts
  • Leading sourcing projects that delivered over £20m savings to the client

Stephen Bradley

 

Stephen is a Board level executive with a wealth of experience across all sectors.

 

 

 

 

Stephen has over 30 years’ consultancy experience gained from working for clients on four continents. He was a partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and founded, in 1987, what was to become the firm’s supply chain management practice. He became the global leader of this practice in 1995.

 


Linda WoolstonLinda Woolston

Linda is an experienced board level business coach and consultant, who is committed to supporting individuals at all levels in organisations in articulating and achieving organisational and personal goals and dreams.

 

Through coaching, individuals at all levels are enabled to access more of their abilities, strengths and potential.

As well as working on transformation teams as part of project implementations, Linda is also an executive coach to the Weir board.


Steve WoolstonSteve Woolston

An accomplished leader with a broad business perspective and considerable IT experience as a user, Director, Consultant and Project Manager in both the Private and Public Sector (including retail, manufacturing and government).

 

 

Has over 30 years experience of working with organisations on various topics including infrastructure projects, change management implementation, supplier rationalisation, cost reduction and reviews of staffing levels and skills.

As well as being an experienced consultant Steve has worked in senior positions with British Gas, an NHS Trust, Spillers, BOC, Trusthouse Forte and held interim IT Director roles at SITA and a large retailer in both roles leading and supporting significant change programmes. 


Richard Iveson

Richard has over 20 years of senior level Supply Chain experience in blue chip FMCG operational and consulting roles and delivery of P & L results, including Princes Foods and CHEP.

 

He has worked in B2B, B2C, multiple transport and warehousing modes in national, European and global environments.


Richard is experienced in successful ERP systems selection, development and implementation (Siebel, SAP, Masternaut & Manugistics) including web portal networks to facilitate globally dispersed operational processing and reporting.


Dan Firth

 

Dan has a wide range of expertise in procurement, project management and change management based on over 30 years experience. 

 

 

 

 

 

His experience has been gained working for major companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, and FMCG sectors, and also in public sector research and local government organisations. Major global projects have included design and launch of sustainable procurement initiatives, negotiation of major services contracts, development of commercial and procurement strategies, and implementation of supplier management frameworks.

 

Dan has experience of driving change within complex businesses at all levels up to board level in major global companies. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) and has a Masters degree in Environmental Philosophy.


Trevor Potter

 

Trevor has more than 20 years’ senior level experience in delivering procurement and supply chain solutions in the public and private sector. 

 

 

He has an extensive track record of building, and developing high performance teams in the most demanding and challenging environments.

 

As a Chartered Engineer, Project Manager and Consultant, Trevor has direct experience of delivering significant operational improvements in a wide range of sectors, including High Tech Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Defence, Automotive, Rail, Utilities, Government and NHS sectors  


  

Harvey Tanday

 

Harvey has 23 years experience in Supply Chain & Logistics managing supply chains for FTSE100 companies and in consultancy roles.

 

 

He specialises in delivering operational improvement, combining his extensive line management knowledge with strong formal project management skills. He has worked across many industry sectors, both public and private, including Retail, Automotive, Marine Terminal operations, Rail operations, Engineering and Manufacturing.

 
Project experience spans Lean, Benchmarking, Cost to Serve and deep experience of physical logistics operations, from start-ups to turnarounds, and his work has resulted in both significant reductions in carbon footprint and cost benefits to clients.

  


Colin Bell

 

Colin is a seasoned Procurement & Supply Chain professional with over 30 years consultancy & management experience in private, public and not-for-profit organisations

 

 

He has worked widely in FMCG, Food and other manufacturing organisations, with clients including Unilever, Anchor Foods, Hozelock, IMI-Norgren, RMC, Wavin and Remploy. 

 

He has delivered a wide range of projects including: procurement change programmes in public transport, building products, engineering and not-for-profit businesses; supply chain strategy and implementation in food, FMCG and manufacturing; key supplier management in the defence industry; as well as change management and team development in many industries and sectors.
Colin is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), and has been a visiting lecturer in Management & Logistics at Cranfield University. He is a founder trustee of Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust (WeSET) and a board adviser to the Westmill Wind Farm Co-operative.

Jennie Beament

Jennie brings a huge depth of experience and knowledge to the Weir Sustainability team with hands on experience from across the globe in transformational procurement projects. Having headed up the work with Richard Branson in bringing Sustainability thinking to procurement for the Virgin group, Jennie is an accredited social auditor and has been awarded many industry accolades for her work to date.
